Spring Training is upon us, so it’s time for my annual predictions for the MLB season ahead. I only get about 50-percent of the division winners right, so if you put money down on my picks, don’t expect to get it back.

I’m currently reading Peter Rollins book How (Not) to Speak of God. It’s one of the last emerging church books I plan to read for a little while — as I’ve been stuck in a rut and need to broaden my horizons a little bit — but it’s a book that’s making this genre tough to leave behind.
It may be the day before Valentines day, thus it seems a little late in the new year to be unveiling a “2008 list,” but this is my website, so I make the rules, right?
