This movement is real
The presidential primary in Oregon has officially kicked off. On short notice, Barack Obama spoke at events in the states three largest cities on Friday, including a morning event in Portland with over 13,000 people where New Mexico Governor, and former presidential candidate, Bill Richardson endorsed him. Another 4,000 attended a town hall meeting in Salem, while another 10,000, including myself, joined him in Eugene.

Spring Training is upon us, so it’s time for my annual predictions for the MLB season ahead. I only get about 50-percent of the division winners right, so if you put money down on my picks, don’t expect to get it back.

It was bound to happen… Obama let me down. On this blog and in person, I’ve been an active Obama supporter. So, in all fairness I feel that I should post my recent correspondence with the Obama campaign regarding their response to Clinton’s “three a.m.” advertisement.

DevilishDuck.com has a tagline. You may have noticed it before, or maybe you just don’t notice those types of things. For me, and I think most bloggers out there, we find taglines a way to showcase first time visitors what our writings are all about in just a few simple words. For me, “in a struggle between cynicism & hope” reflects who I am on so many different levels.
