Although I probably saw less movies this year then in most, I’ve decided to put together a ‘top ten’ list. So here are my Top Ten Movies of 2007 (that I’ve seen), with honorable mentions to movies that have a high probability of making the list once I see them. The List

  1. 3:10 to Yuma
  2. Freedom Writers
  3. Dan In Real Life
  4. Bourne Ultimatum
  5. Reign Over Me
  6. Darjeeling Limited
  7. Knocked Up
  8. Superbad
  9. Once
  10. Sicko

Will (probably) be a top ten movie once I see it

Into the Wild, No Country For Old Men, and Juno.

UPDATE: The list has been updated to reflect the addition of Once which I saw on 12/23 to the list at #9, pushing Ratatouille off from the original top ten.

  1. I would add:
    “300″
    “The Kingdom”
    “Zodiac”
    “Gone Baby Gone”
    “American Gangster”
    “The Great Debaters”

However, this year I saw more movies than in any previous year.

  2. I saw 300, but it just didn’t do it for me this year. I love the classic Greek story of Thermopylae, but 300 was too much blockbuster, not enough thought to plot.

As for the other five movies on your list, I haven’t seen any of them yet. I’ve heard great things about all of them though.
